Productivity on the Move – June 2026 Edition Now Available
The NPCC is pleased to announce the release of the June 2026 edition of Productivity on the Move, its flagship newsletter showcasing the Council’s latest initiatives, partnerships and insights into the evolving productivity landscape of Mauritius.
This edition opens with an exclusive interview with Dr Vinaye Ancharaz, Executive Director of the NPCC, who shares his analysis of the Budget Speech 2026-2027 and its implications for AI adoption, the upcoming Industry Bill, the Start-up Revolution, and the challenges facing Mauritius’s fishing communities.
Highlights from this edition include:
- AI StartUps Project — A recap of the NPCC’s first-ever AI StartUps Award Ceremony, celebrating the journey of 19 finalist teams and five award-winning entrepreneurs who turned innovative AI concepts into viable business ventures.
- Mauritius to Host AKAC 2026 — Mauritius prepares to welcome the continent for the Africa Kaizen Annual Conference, scheduled for 26–27 October 2026, marking the tenth anniversary of the Africa Kaizen Initiative.
