Congratulations to team Archemics for 'Excellent' award at AKAC 2022

Team Archemics bagged the Excellent award in the category Large Scale Organisation at the African Kaizen Award 2022 that was hosted both physically and virtually in Cameroon on 4 and 5 October 2022. The prize also comes with a set of literatures that are useful to upgrade Kaizen practices. The books are selected and recommended by each six members of the Examination Committee of the Awards.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) and the Government of the Union of Tanzania hosted the 2022 Africa KAIZEN Annual Conference (AKAC) on 4 and 5 October 2022. AKAC serves as a platform for stakeholders to expand their networks, share knowledge, and deepen their understanding of KAIZEN activities.

The theme this year was "Streamlining and enhancing Kaizen/QPI endeavors with the aspirations and goals of transforming Africa’s economies particularly MSMEs".

Objectives of the AKAC

The objective of AKAC 2022 is focusing on sharing experiences and best practices of African countries so as to further promote and upgrade QPI/Kaizen activities in the continent through;

Highlighting and discussing selected best practices in undertaking Kaizen/QPI activities helpful for mutual learning process of the know-how and practical experiences of Kaizen/QPI in Africa and in the world;

Bringing together institutions, institutional leaders and practitioners of Kaizen/QPI from the continent and the globe to strengthening and expanding network among them; and

Conveying key messages from QPI/Kaizen and business promoters and practitioners to African heads of states and policy makers for their considerations on how to streamline and enhance Kaizen/QPI activities and harness the benefits therefrom for continental and national development agenda.
