The objective of Productivity and Quality Improvement Programme (PQIP) is to assist organisations to indentify, reduce and eliminate Muri, Mura and Muda by using the PDCA cycle. A PQIP in an organanisation is implemented in 3 phases for organizations namely,:
Analysis
Training and
Implementation.
For a PQIP to be successful, a firm commitment of top management along with a cross functional team is required. Training for PQIP is essentially in-plant and involves the cross-functional team who has to identify key problems on the Gemba (workplace) and apply the PDCA cycle with the support of NPCC consultants. We assist in the implementation phase and also in the drafting of reports on the project using A3 sheets where applicable.
