Participation in International Awards
Outstanding winners of NPQEA 2025 will be eligible for nomination in the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) and the Africa Kaizen Award (AKA).
ICQCC
The ICQCC serves as a platform for member countries to showcase impactful case studies on quality management and service improvement initiatives.
As a Core Council member, the NPCC is responsible for selecting and nominating exceptional projects to represent Mauritius at this international convention.
Winners of NPQEA 2025 will be able to participate in ICQCC 2026, providing them with valuable opportunity for international recognition.
Africa Kaizen Annual Conference (AKAC) & Africa Kaizen Award (AKA)
Launched in 2017 by the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Africa Kaizen Initiative (AKI) aims to promote Kaizen across the continent by accelerating its adoption, integrating knowledge and mobilising resources.
The NPCC, as the official nominator for Mauritius, recommends up to six organisations in each edition of the AKA.
AKA will be held in October 2025 in South Africa. However, owing to the timeline of NPQEA 2025, nominated winners of NPQEA 2025 will be eligible to participate in AKA 2026.
